Spine Physiotherapy Geelong
Personalised treatment and rehabilitation programs for all types of back pain.

Our Story
The science of Physiotherapy has progressed significantly in the past 20 years. There has been a boom in the amount of research available for physiotherapists to guide management. The depth of research has allowed physiotherapists to better tailor treatment and rehabilitation programs to optimise patient recoveries.
One of the few downsides to the extensive nature of the research has been the difficulty for Physiotherapists to stay across all the latest advancements for each area of the body.
With this in mind, Spine Physiotherapy Geelong was developed with the vision of providing the Greater Geelong region with a rehabilitation service dedicated to back and neck pain. By focusing on conditions of the spine only, we are able to ensure treatment is of the highest standard and based on the latest research.
Our Team
David Goulding
With over 20 years in the industry, David is an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist.
For his first Physiotherapy job, David joined the innovative team at Spinal Management Clinics of Victoria. The role involved the exclusive management of chronic neck and back pain and provided the stimulus for a career long passion for helping patients with all varieties of spinal pain.
Since being inspired by his early work, David has worked diligently to maximise his skills and knowledge in the management of back and neck pain. His extra efforts to improve have included two post-graduate degrees, numerous professional development courses and the involvement in a number of university run research projects.
Clinically, David has worked in a wide variety of settings including football clubs, hospital wards, outpatient rehab, private practices and a multidisciplinary pain management program. That wide variety of settings has helped David understand treatment requirements at all stages of care.
When not working in the clinic, David also consults on the Clinical Panels at both WorkSafe Victoria and the TAC. David is also a casual tutor at LaTrobe University assisting the post-graduate Masters students on the Pain Sciences subject.
